Cindy Shelley (born 23 March 1960 in Barnet, Hertfordshire) is a British actress, best known for her roles in two high profile BBC television dramas of the 1980s - Alice Courtenay in ''Tenko'' and Abby Urquhart in ''Howards' Way''. ==Career== Shelley made her television debut playing Rhiannon, one of the party girls in ''The Young Ones'' episode "Interesting". A week later, she played the girl on the radio in the "Flood" episode of the same series. Her next move was the part of Alice Courtenay in the war series ''Tenko''. Shelley was in nine episodes of series three〔http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0791188/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1〕 and appeared in Tenko Reunion the following year. From 1985 to 1990, her busy schedule involved six series of ''Howards' Way'', in the role of Abby Urquhart/Hudson, alongside Kate O'Mara. Without doubt her character was created to engender sympathy and viewer interest, although in many important respects the complete reverse was the case (as particularly exemplified by her appearance throughout the sixth and final series of the programme), and audiences were left in no doubt as to their feelings towards the character in the final episode. Shelleys' career after ''Howards' Way'' and a couple of brief appearances in ''The Tripods'', has been sporadic. Appearances in ''Bottom'', ''Men Behaving Badly'' and ''A Prince Among Men'' have kept her on screen, as well as fifteen episodes of ''Grange Hill'' as Ros Meyer. She replaced Charlotte Long for the second series of ''The Tripods'' after Long's sudden death in a road accident. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Cindy Shelley」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
